From my very first Leica M6 roll. Ilford HP5 in Tetenal Ultrafin. Looking back now, those were some nice tones already. I should give that ultrafin stuff another try maybe…
Random stuff from the archive of 2011 and 2012. Partly unpublished and very early frames revised with my todays workflow. For detailed information about camera and film, follow the links over to my flickr.
Paris 2012. High End Kiev 88 frames, Ilford Delta 100, Rodinal stand dev for about an hour. Despite the rough handling and technical limitations the russian diva sure has its charm. And then one day i bought a swedish beauty.
Random Nuremberg street frames.
Leica M2 with Zeiss C-Biogon 35mm. HC-110. #1: Fuji Acros, #2/3/4: Ilford Delta 100. Delta in the HC-110 is just sick!

Just in case this hasn’t happen to you yet. This is what your roll of film will look like if your fixer has stopped working and cannot resolve any more silver halide from the emulsion of the film base, see the brownish fog over the frames.
This is a roll of Ilford HP5+, its film base is supposed to be completely clear when fixed and washed correctly, with a slight light purple teint as it is visible on the left border.
Long story short, prepare a new fixer dilution, fix, rinse and dry again, which is no problem with developed and pre-fixed negatives. Kapow.
